But hey, there's progress being made, and it's awesome.
I've been organizing a fundraiser "coffeehouse" event at my school with my franz for the past month or so, called the Little Red House of the Rising Sun Relief Event. It's on April 16th at my high school. All the funds we raise go straight to Yoshiki Foundation America. (/* A*)/We would've donated to SYH, but bank transfers are too complicated, especially for the school.
I've been talking back and forth with the foundation, and they might send out someone from the foundation to be a guest speaker!yoshiki plz /excite/ There's also a ton of performers lined up too~ /more excite/ And we made our own shirt designs, so now we get shirts! /afksdlfhsdkafds excite/
It's going to be so much fun. Really. I'm super excited.
...Although some asshole of a "friend" (or who I used to consider somewhat of a friend; who's also not working on the event itself) had to kill my excitement by telling me he won't donate because " 'they' bombed Pearl Harbor".
The fuck? What, are we in 1941? No? Okay. Thought so. Shut the fuck up.
...I'm honestly losing faith in my generation. really.
Anyway.
There's going to be a raffle, and we have so many raffle prizes~ Emi Meyer sent us (or is...I have no idea) a signed CD of hers (I love her, I swear.crush lol). The staff at the Sakura Matsuri Festival in Brooklyn sent us 22 tickets to the Sakura Matsuri Festival in May. 22 tickets. I'm really just, grateful for that. My friend's dad is doing a painting on a canvas.
...There's just so much stuff.
So. If you're in NYC, come to the event! plz. It would be awesome. Just ask me for more details~

Well, I was in Jamaica for 4 days, but I'm home. At least for the next ~3 days until I go back on a plane to Atlanta. /the traveling is killing me ide/
Jamaica was really nice~ 84 degree weather, sunny. It was really, REALLY windy though. I did pretty much nothing but be extremely lazy the entire time, lol~
Now on Wednesday I'm back on a plane to ATL for a law conference (bore) and college trips (...). ...Then more college trips in two weeks...
The process...it's killing me you guys. ; A; SAT in May...argh asdghkaflagf (now I'm just thinking ahead lol).
...Anyways...
Other than the constant traveling, the 3DS comes out in a week, so I'm excited for that.
...I've noticed...GACKT seems to be spamming Twitter a lot lately, lol.

Well, I have no other reason to make a LJ post except to say "Hey, I'm not dead, I'm just endlessly lurking Dears, OGYD, etc, because I've had no time to make a lengthly non-rant/angst filled LJ post!". Since the Prince concert, anyways. (nujabes dedication doesn't count, though I love him all the same).

...Well, it's been 5 years since I've known nujabes.
And it's been one year since his passing. ...Well, officially on the 26th, but...
It's still kind-of hard, mentally, to cope with the fact that he's gone, you know? I grew up watching Samurai Champloo, so growing up on nujabes' work pretty much followed.
But...yeah.
Meh.
...
Rest in peace, nujabes. May your beat lament the world.

Saying that I loved every second of that concert would be a complete, complete understatement. Because that concert was more lovely than anything I had ever experienced in my life. I seriously cannot even begin to explain how happy I am right now.

And then finally, my mom called me into her room, made me get an envelope from the bottom of this drawer, and gave me a long speech about prepping for college and things that will benefit me in the future before I was allowed to open the envelope. And inside there were two tickets.
To see Prince.
For Tuesday.
And I was sitting there like wuddafux r u srs.
so excited aksjfgsadghfsjkdagd
but yeah. That was my day yesterday.

I'm fairly content with what happenedtoday yesterday.
Had a terrible morning waking up to about 3 phone alarms going off at the same time--my mom woke me up this time instead of vice versa. ^ ^;;
I couldn't sleep at all.Typical 4-year old self going CHRISTMAS CHRISTMAS CHRISTMAS.
And when I woke up in the morning, my mom made me go on a scavenger hunt like old times~ Everything was hidden in bags around the living room. >____>;; (all the phones were in separate bags :c)
I got DJ Hero 2, Kirby's Epic Yarn, Michael Jackson: The Experience, some clothes, money, and converse boots. :D
And then I proceeded to play said video games for the rest of the day.
(Pictures will come later...maybe tomorrow. I'm stuck playing Maple Story atm. XD)
So, how was everyone's xmas? ...And if you don't celebrate xmas, how was your holiday season in general? :D
